Olivier Award winner Sara Baras returns to City Center with Vuela (“fly”), a cinematic journey in four acts that pays tribute to the great flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucía.

Celebrated for her lightning-fast footwork, intricate movements, and  commanding stage presence, Baras is renowned for choreography that brings exceptional power and intensity to every performance.

Originally from Venezuela, the GRAMMY-nominated bassist Álvaro Benavides is now based out of NYC, where he regularly performs with some of the world's most renowned Cuban bands.

Famed for his unshakeable timing and unerring instinct, Benavides' beats and grooves combust alongside the cajón into an uplifting and powerful rhythmic surge.

In the past decade, Benavides has been seen on stage with luminaries including Wynton Marsalis, John Scofield, Steve Gadd, Rubén Blades, and Issac Delgado.

An immersive experience designed to open the body, expand energy, and restore emotional balance.
 
This workshop explores safe, intelligent back bending through progressive sequencing, breath-led alignment, and spinal mobility to build confidence and ease.
 
The practice concludes with guided Yoga Nidra and heart-coherence meditation, supporting deep calm, renewed vitality, and a lasting sense of openness and joy.
